Imagine a whole 11-minute episode where Plankton suffers the amount of abuse he takes at the end of “Plankton’s Regular”. Krabs tormenting Plankton by disguising himself as a whale, something that could legitimately kill him, just for some good laughs, and even laughs after Plankton is ready to commit suicide! No jokes in this episode really hit, and for the most part, it’s just dark. Those six “yikes” are far from this episode’s only problem. Krabs says SpongeBob really redeemed himself, sextuple yikes, and asks if he can get rid of the mime. Plankton escapes screaming, as SpongeBob turns off the holographic projector. SpongeBob, however, asks Plankton to turn around, and he sees several whales in the ocean ready for a feast. He traps Krabs in the claw again, and unleashes a mime to scare him. Krabs is preparing to torment Krabs again, but Plankton isn’t scared anymore. Plankton is annoyed to see SpongeBob back, and SpongeBob tries telling him the formula is not where he claimed it was earlier, and brings up that everyone has secret fears, tells him Krabs’s secret fear, and notes that the whole time it was just Krabs in a whale costume. Krabs reminds SpongeBob that he disclosed the location of the formula, which he apologizes for, but SpongeBob thinks he has an idea that could fix everything. Krabs simply laughs it off thinking of what a mess he is. SpongeBob denies in the face of his good nature, and tries to tell Mr. He asks SpongeBob to step on him to make his death happen faster. Plankton demands SpongeBob go away, as he waits for the bus to run him over. The next day, SpongeBob is working, only to hear Plankton crying in the streets. He wakes up from his nightmare, while Krabs outside, taking off his Pearl costume, laughs. Plankton tries to escape, but his legs have been burned away by stomach acids. We see Plankton having a nightmare where Pearl eats him, and he sees his ancestors in her stomach. He now has a large beard and long fingernails, and is unwilling to step into the light in fear the Pearl will get him. Karen walks away, fed up with Plankton’s fears, and 16 paranoia-filled days later, we see Plankton still isn’t doing well. Plankton goes running back to Karen, but when Karen enters the lab, she doesn’t see Pearl anywhere. He hides under the transmutator, only to see Pearl approaching again, wanting Plankton meat. She sends Plankton outside to take out the trash.Īt the dumpster, Plankton sees Pearl again, and instantly runs back inside, boarding up the door, and placing a few cabinets in front of it. We see a brief clip of his ancestors being devoured by whales, while Karen doesn’t seem to care. At the Chum Bucket, Karen snarks about Plankton’s failure, but Plankton is scared out of his mind, knowing what happened to his ancestors.

Krabs pays Pearl to free him and SpongeBob from the trap, and decides he can use Plankton’s fear to his advantage. Plankton runs away, first into the freezer, then out the door. Krabs and SpongeBob smell another strange scent, which SpongeBob identifies as blubber, scaring Plankton.Īs Pearl enters the room, Plankton is scared, knowing that whales eat plankton, and Krabs notes Pearl is extra hungry that day.
